    Information is not balances, more communication less advertising

    We need to create a board of "ethical communication", that controls the infosphere trough an overlooking on content presented and places where it's showed. Humans act a lot following the reaction of mirror-neurons, they emulate and reflect the values promoted in their environment. Too often the content of commercial advertising promote unsustainable way of life, that has to be balanced trough a promotion and advetising of "good ideas". "Good ideas" means promotion of way of sustainable life for everyone. The board controls also the classification of information spaces, putting clear landmarks and distinctions between advertising spaces and common places. Besides this if microwaves covered the whole surface of earth the "ethical information" board has to create and manage information-free spaces.

    Not sure I get it exactly.. are you talking about within the superstuct communities, or on the web in general - like portal that assembles and rates resources and links to important issues of this community?

    Sorry, i'm not so precise in english... anyhow i was thinking about creating a superstruct that deal with problem of the overwhelming power of advertising, that driven by money promote unsustainable way of life. I'd like less product and more ideas to be "promoted".

Better, more rational methods of thinking and dealing with reality- understanding logical fallacies, e.g.- would help insulate against the constant barrage.

    Advertising plays a function, and is a very powerful way of communication. Rather than eliminating it, perhaps it *is* the way to go, for communicating constructive messages? Sometimes the truth gets lost in info-noise. Advertising could help getting the right messages across. Just a thought...

    Wikis work great because they allow multiple edits - which in the end allows for both misinformation and then immediate correction. Because most people are mostly good - the info you you see is also mostly good. The art of persuasion is being usurped by the demand for problem solving information. They called it the Web 2.0 back in 2008.
