HELP PLEASE!!! My food was stolen!!!

I am sending out a call for help. Ihave 4 daughters that I needto provide food for.  I had a garden in my back yardas well as 2 chickens, and a cow. Last night I heard some noise coming from my back yard. As I was walking out of the back door, someone hit me in the back of the head. Although, I was awake during some i could not function enough to stop them; eventually evrything went black.What I remember is  there were 3 people who broke open my shed. They took my chickens ( my egg supply) cow ( milk supply), and dug up my entire garden. Hours later I came to. I went back inside after a quick walk around my yard. The only good thing that came out of this is that the people did not know my daughters were upstairs. They were still asleep. I beg anyone who can help,please spare what you can. At least for my girls sake.  God Bless and Be Safe

    Oh gods. Where do you live? In hobbiton? You have a field, animals. Food. Lying there. No fence. No neighbourhood militia. No robot. No "shockwave" drone incapacitation system. You "just walk out" in the middle of the night and you have the luck the miscreants "only hit you over the head". I have heard dozens of sob stories like that and I know what's up - you are ducking taxes and making up a flimsy story you were robbed by unseen mystery assailants that knock you conveniently unconscious. I smell a giant pile of HUMANURE.

    Ruud - where have you been? I haven't seen you in these parts for awhile, have you been sick? You are looking a little pale. CVRN - Can anyone at the hospital that is close to you help with some emergency food? You also need to talk to Revs as he knows a lot of families, and perhaps can hook you up with one that can trade food for help in their gardens. You also need to get in contact with Mudmama as she knows a lot about wild plants, and if you have land there is wild plants that can tide you over until you can get established or at least balanced on your feet again. Look for Hope, it is there to help.

    /me looks surprised, wiping the muesli bar crumbs from my lips.. ..... "hmm? dunno what you are talking about, I have lived with limited means since the 1990s, and for me barely anything changed in my way of life since then. Never owned a car. Less fruit and candy but I am not like starving or anything. Actually, I was working on a project lately, lot of homework. Learning a new programing language and I suck at that." *takes another muesli bar*

    Hey that muesli bar looks good, did you make it yourself? A new programing language huh... maybe I can help? I do know some programing, not sure if it is the same as you are working on but hey if I can help... Now about the muesli bar where did you get it - maybe we can help CVRN obtain some food for her family? Anyway glad to hear you are not sick Ruud.

    Where do you live CVRN? I know north eastern/coastal plants and this is a very good time to be our foraging - not only for roots for food, but to bring root stock inside to grown greens through the winter in your basement. They're actually less bitter grown this way and more palatable as raw greens - so more nutritious.
