Sea farms

food from scratch
drakhen

The sea was mostly dead even before mankind stated systematically destroying it with artiificial nitrate run-off killing the coastal fish spawning grounds and  excess carbon dioxide acidification killing the pytoplankton and corals , it came to life in places where sand from deserts was blown into the sea bringing scarce iron to surface wsters ... we learned than that simply the tiny ammount of iron we could scatter ourselves from boats togetehr with urine waste from the community would bring the local waters to life, new species taht we had not known before moved in to our 'sea sanctuary' and the local food web was maintained and grew wider , more species arriving as the problems in teh rest of the sea grew... we survived because we had learned not to take more than the minimum we needed ,the sea enriching our diet considerably .
