The trust market applies the wisdom of crowds and fundamental market principles to this problem. Organization, politicians, CEO, preachers, or even private citizens could put their trust-worthiness on a market where it could be bought or sold by those who do or do not trust that person or organization. 

      Think ebay seller ratings mixed with Intrade or any of the numerous prediction markets.
