    Our mission is to create a paper-based public superthreat warning system to offset misinformation and griefing efforts by the "Legion" hackers.

    You are urgently requested to design flyers and posters that provide reliable, actionable Superthreat advice.

    We will print and distribute and post these in public locations throughout California. 

    The first postering session will be conducted in one of the hardest-hit communities, Palo Alto California, on Monday October 20. You are invited to host your own postering mission wherever you live and wherever the thin client warning systems have been hacked.

     

     

    BACKGROUND:

    The public network of thin-client information monitors that California residents have enabled to provide up-to-date, local community information has been hacked. It is presumed that the hacking is being conducted by the “Legion” griefers who created the video, and who are attempting to slow down government response to the Superthreats. While security of the California Superthreat Warning System is threatened, GEAS volunteers urge all Superstruct community members to join together to help create an analog information and alert system to protect California residents and any other community victims of hacking from the Superthreats.

  • Discuss this superstructure
    • Given the increasing value of paper and other tree products, I would recommend minimizing paper flyering whenever possible. At a minimum, flyer conservation should be practiced--using old paper bags, using permant markers on white plastic trash, or the blank side of junk mail (I am still amazed how many credit card offers arrive despite the near total collapse of the global credit market). Alternatively, there is spray-on chalkboard. Cans of this can still be found in unlooted hardware and art supply stores. Simply spray on the chalkboard material, give it an hour to dry, and then chalk away. This also works well with the Nomadic Mark-up Language. Vagrants are the new newsgroups.
