Starting a superstructure is only the beginning. The real task is envisioning what it can do, how it will work, and who you need to work with. If you're not a member, consider joining now. If you are a member, be bold, jump in, and use the superstructure to start organizing for survival. Edit it, add to the vision, and make it real, online and off. And don't forget to rave.

  • Who We Need

    Here's what we need:

We need anybody with usable space that can be used to house workers displaced by the ban on large assemblies.  Space can be in schools, churches, storefronts, living rooms (large ones, anyway), abandoned buildings - the only requirements are power, water, sanitation, and heating/cooling.

We need legal and lobbying assistance in receiving the necessary zoning and other regulatory waivers from local, state, and Federal authorities.

We need creative economists who can help us design a barter-based system for com, pensating building owners for the use of their space.

We need a physical courier system to distribute paper emails, raw materials for manufacturing, and other internally shared company materials.

We need communicators/networkers who can collect information on available spaces, then help connect "spaceholders" with companies needing spaces.

Help us get America's middle and large-sized companies back to work - in your backyard!

  • How to join
Submit your ideas for designing the compunents of DWN:  the barter system, communications, couriernet, or other elements we may have overlooked.
  • Mission

Now that public gatherings and assemblies have been limited to 12 persons for health reasons (it's been "strongly suggested"), large centralized companies have a problem.  Even if they run round-the-clock shifts, they can only have a maximum of 36 employees.

The solution?  A Distributed Workforce Network  (DWN) that allows larger companies to spread their workforce over multiple locations.  DWN will help companies "re-lo-source" their employees into emergency locations for the duration of this ban.

China's "backyard forges" may not have worked during the last century’s Cultural Revolution - but today we have the technology, the creativity, and the imagination to make the "backyard industries" of 2019 the engine of economic revival!
